Annie Wilson and Beryl Matthews are both Relate Licensed Counsellors with many years' experience working as relationship counsellors and, in more recent years, as family counsellors. We have both also worked for several years as supervisors to Relate counsellors, offering them training and support in the development of their counselling practice.

Our work is grounded in Psychodynamic and Systemic theories.

We are both members of BACP and we are bound by BACP's Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure for the time being in force.


Annie Wilson
Background
I worked as a journalist in local and national newspapers in London for 21 years including five years at the Daily Telegraph and ten at the Financial Times. I then worked as a lecturer in journalism before relocating to Norfolk. I retrained to become a counsellor 14 years ago and I have been a supervisor for five years.

Qualified Young People's Counsellor (Relate)
Certificate in Supervision (Relate)

Beryl Matthews
Background
I worked as a Personnel and Industrial Relations adviser for ten years before retraining over twenty years ago as a couple counsellor, family mediator and family counsellor.
